Reading Learning Progressions
Learning progressions are maps, or pathways, of learning along which students are expected to travel. They are broken down into Fiction and Nonfiction and organized in a way that shows development over time in each skill. They are in invaluable tool in assessing whether or not students are meeting grade level expectations and, if not, how far above or below a student is in a particular area.
